cArte, the Diffused Museum of Paper and Printing joins Art Night 2025

Also in 2025 cArte | Diffused Museum of Paper and Printing of Venice will participate in Art Night Venezia, the white night of art that will animate the city on Saturday 21 June 2025. Two special events will lead the public to discover the creativity linked to the world of paper, printing and visual arts, in two emblematic places of the museum network.
1. “From sheet to leaf” – Carterìa ai Frari Calle Larga, San Polo 2954, Venice 21 June 2025 | from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm A participatory installation designed for Art Night: at the Carterìa ai Frari window, participants will be able to transform a simple sheet of paper into a leaf, thanks to short guided origami workshops. Each leaf created will then be applied to a “nizioleto”, composing a large collective leaf that will be shared on social media. 2. “Atelier Aperto” – Itaca Art Studio Calle Cosmo 620 – Giudecca (Palanca stop), Venice June 21, 2025 | from 10:30 to 20:00 A journey into the creative universe of Monica Martin, a Venetian artist who opens the doors of her atelier located in the evocative cloister of the former Convent of SS. Cosma and Damiano. Visitors will be able to discover her works of painting, graphics and ceramics, learn about tools and techniques, and be inspired by a space full of charm and atmosphere. Each workshop is a hub of the museum, where you can discover techniques, machinery, works and purchase unique pieces. A widespread itinerary that guides visitors to the lesser-known places of the city, telling the story of an unpublished Venice, the capital of paper and printing.
